To run a copy of MULTICO that’s on a different computer

Pick a workstation or server to house the program files. If necessary, install MULTICO on the chosen machine.

Share the MULT4WIN folder on the chosen machine. Go to the other computer(s) and map a network drive to the shared MULT4WIN folder.

To run the program from the chosen machine or install to each workstation follow these steps:

1. Click the Start button and choose the RUN command.
2. Type the drive and path to the MULT4WIN\DISKIMG directory on the chosen machine. Click OK.
3. Run the INSTALL.EXE from this folder.
   
4. After InstallShield is started click Next and select “Install Icons Only” (if you would like to run the program directly off of the chosen machine) or “Full installation” (if you would like to run the program from the workstation -- the program generally runs faster this way) from the options listed and click Next.  This will begin the installation process.
5. After the “Installation is complete” message appears, click on OK.

To share customer files among computers that have MULTICO installed on their local hard drives

• Pick a workstation or server to house the customer files.
• If necessary, install MULTICO on the chosen machine.
• Share the MULT4WIN folder on the chosen machine. Go to the other computer(s).
• Map a network drive to the shared MULT4WIN folder.
• Choose Customer Database and Disk Image Directories on the File Menu Set the Customer Database Directory to the shared MULT4WIN folder on the server or other computer.
